Axonify wins US pitch competition

WATERLOO — A Waterloo startup that develops cloud-based software to train workforces, has won a Fortune magazine pitch competition, beating out several California competitors.

Axonify, which creates workplace training software that delivers knowledge in short, fun bursts, won the Brainstorm Tech Startup Idol competition at a conference in Aspen, Colo., last month, beating out Silicon Valley competitors Bina Technologies, Story Coach and Sift, as well as Afterschool.me of Los Angeles.
