The coronavirus crisis has brought into sharp focus the value a strong culture plays in organizational success. Building and maintaining a meaningful corporate culture is never easy, but the sudden stress of lockdowns has put unimaginable pressures on working relationships. Corporate leaders who rise to the challenge lay the foundation for an even healthier environment when the pandemic is over.
The crisis has highlighted the fact that a company’s culture and the people who comprise that culture matter more than ever. A company with a purpose around which its workers rally is a company that will thrive. The sense of “we’re all in this together” is an opportunity to forge deeper bonds and even more camaraderie than the rosy days when the good times were rolling.
