Axonify Adds Top Learning & Performance Expert JD Dillon To Strategic Team

WATERLOO – March 1, 2016 – Axonify, a disruptor in the corporate learning space and innovator behind the world’s first Employee Knowledge Platform, announced today that JD Dillon has joined its strategic team as the Principal Learning Strategist. Dillon brings more than 15 years of experience designing and implementing learning and performance strategies for respected global organizations across market segments. His appointment will further enable Axonify to help businesses push beyond the boundaries of corporate learning to drive knowledge and behaviors that impact business outcomes.

Specifically, Dillon will work with the company’s award-winning team to continue to enhance the world’s first Employee Knowledge Platform, which has seen broad adoption by leading organizations, including Walmart, Toyota, Johnson & Johnson, Bloomingdale’s, and many others. Moreover, Dillon’s deep expertise in enterprise learning and development will help Axonify’s current and prospective customers elevate corporate learning initiatives through an improved focus on business objectives that align with overall corporate goals.

Over the past 15 years, Dillon has dedicated his career to helping workers acquire the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their jobs. “I am a self-proclaimed learning and performance geek, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join a company as exciting and innovative as Axonify,” said Dillon. “I believe deeply in Axonify’s mission and product; our values are closely aligned; and I’m thrilled by the opportunity to transition from being an Axonify customer to joining its strategic team.”

Most recently Dillon was with Kaplan Higher and Professional Education as Director of Learning Technology & Development. His responsibilities and accomplishments included establishing the organization’s strategic approach to learning and performance support as well as managing its learning and collaboration technology portfolio. Prior to that leadership role, Dillon was with The Walt Disney Company where he worked as a Learning & Development Manager within The Walt Disney World Resort. In this role, JD designed and delivered targeted learning and performance support programs for cast members and leadership in all resort locations and lines of business. In his spare time, Dillon authors his personal blog, Just Curious, which explores a variety of prevailing learning and performance topics. He is a passionate, active and well-respected proponent for improving corporate learning and development, and a regular speaker at the industry’s top learning conferences.
